Join us for a special edition of the Carnegie Community Centre Poetry Cabaret. This open mic style event invites performers to sign up and then have 10 minutes each on stage. Everyone welcome! Prizes for all participants!

GHIA AWEIDA
Ghia Aweida is a poet who is working on poetry and prose. She has published several chapbooks, has one book on the way, and has published a full length book. She is also published in several anthologies, and is an active member of the Downtown Eastside Writers Collective and now hosts Poetry Cabaret every 1st Saturday of the month at Carnegie Theatre! She is dreaming of winning first prize in poetry and prose in the near future!
