This writing session invites participants to explore their writing practice using visual art mediums as a writing prompt. Participants are encouraged to use visual art tools to engage with their writing in a supportive and encouraging space. Supplies provided.

ANGELA J. GRAY

Angela J. Gray is an emerging Black writer and visual artist living in Vancouver, BC. Her work centres around the impact of colonization on children of the African/Caribbean Diaspora who have been adopted into white homes. She is a graduate of Vancouver Manuscript Intensive and a Canada Council for the Arts grant recipient. Her most recent work has appeared in the anthology Off the Map: Vancouver writers with lived experience of mental health issues.
