Characters Talking
Thursday, May 21, 10:30 am – 12:30 pm · Carnegie Theatre
In this interactive workshop, we’ll explore how dialogue brings characters and stories to life. Through examples from plays and film, participants will look at how conversations on the page can reveal character, create tension, and sometimes make us laugh. Participants will explore how people really speak: what’s said, what’s not said, and how personality shows up in the way characters talk to each other. No previous writing experience is needed! This workshop is open to anyone interested in stories, theatre, or creative writing.
Facilitator: Zahida Rahemtulla
